The Arran Scottish Horse Farm is the only place to see examples of the four equestrian breeds native to Scotland.
We have Clydesdale Horse, Eriskay Pony, Highland Pony and Shetland Ponies.
We breed Eriskay and Shetland ponies, specialising in the Miniature Palomino Shetland.
We are open from April to October for individuals and families, and all year round for groups.
Next year we will add a tea room, toilet and play facilities.
Group tours are conducted by Karen Augier, the proprietor, and discuss the historical, cultural and educational aspects of the breeds; current numbers in the world; how we can protect the breeds and how these horses are used today.
